Buying an Eilik is not simply a question of choosing a colour. You can buy a single expressive desktop companion, purchase a pair that interacts together, or add an AI Station designed to introduce conversational and visual features.

These options offer different experiences, and spending more does not necessarily mean getting a better robot.

One Eilik, Two Eiliks or AI Station: Price Comparison

Prices checked against manufacturer listings on 27 October 2026. The third figure is a calculation based on separate purchases, not a verified bundle price. Prices may change and do not necessarily include European VAT, shipping, import duties or other charges.

At these prices, buying the two-pack saves only $10 compared with purchasing two individual blue Eiliks.

That is not a compelling saving unless you actually want two robots.

Why One Eilik Is the Best Starting Point

The standard Eilik is a small desktop robot designed around personality rather than practical tasks.

It reacts to touch, displays animated expressions and performs movements intended to make it feel like a playful character.

According to Energize Lab, the standard robot works without Wi-Fi or an internet connection for its ordinary interactions.

The manufacturer lists approximately 1.5 hours of battery operation and around one hour of charging time. These figures have not been independently tested by OurRobotLife.

A single Eilik makes sense if you:

• Want an entertaining companion for your desk.
• Enjoy animated characters and playful reactions.
• Prefer a robot that does not depend on constant internet connectivity for ordinary play.
• Want to discover whether this type of companion robot appeals to you before spending more.

What are the limitations?

Eilik is not a miniature humanoid assistant. It cannot walk around your home, perform household tasks or hold open-ended conversations on its own.

Its appeal comes primarily from its expressions, animations and interactions.

There is also the question of novelty. What seems delightful during the first few days may become repetitive for some owners.

We cannot predict how long the experience will remain entertaining for an individual buyer.

Our advice: watch several unedited demonstrations before purchasing. If the ordinary interactions appeal to you, start with one Eilik.

When Buying Two Eiliks Makes Sense

One of Eilik’s distinctive features is its ability to interact with another Eilik.

Energize Lab advertises playful encounters, shared animations and disagreements between the characters.

This changes the experience from watching one robot react to its surroundings to observing two characters respond to each other.

For some buyers, that interaction is the main reason to choose Eilik.

Advantages of owning two

• Additional interactions between the robots.
• A more animated desktop display.
• The possibility of sharing the experience with another person.
• More opportunities to observe the characters together.

Disadvantages of owning two

You will need additional desk space, another charging connection and a larger initial budget.

Two robots also do not guarantee twice as much entertainment.

There is no independent evidence establishing that owning a pair prevents the experience from becoming repetitive.

Our advice: buy two if the interaction between the characters is what genuinely attracts you. Otherwise, start with one and consider adding another later.

What Does Eilik AI Station Actually Add?

AI Station is an accessory designed to expand the original Eilik experience.

According to Energize Lab, it introduces features including conversational AI, face and object recognition, and gesture-based games.

The manufacturer explains that placing Eilik on AI Station changes its operating experience. Removing the robot allows it to return to its original mode.

AI Station is not a replacement for Eilik. You need a compatible Eilik robot to use it.

Does AI Station speak Spanish or German?

This is an important limitation for European buyers.

According to an official Energize Lab support article dated 17 September 2026, AI Station currently supports English only.

The manufacturer says additional languages are under development.

That is not a confirmed release date or a guarantee that any particular language will become available.

If you want a robot that converses in Spanish, German, French or Dutch, do not purchase AI Station on the assumption that these languages are already supported.

Does AI Station work without the internet?

Energize Lab states that core conversations and some games can operate offline, while network connectivity enables additional features and updates.

However, the documentation does not establish that all advertised AI functions work offline or that offline conversations provide the same experience as connected conversations.

We have not independently tested these capabilities.

Buyers should also distinguish offline operation from the privacy and security of the wider connected ecosystem.

Does AI Station require a subscription?

We have not verified a permanent guarantee of subscription-free AI access, unlimited conversations or continued availability of every advertised service.

Before purchasing AI Station specifically for its conversational capabilities, we recommend confirming current usage limits, recurring charges and service conditions.

Does AI Station include a charger?

The manufacturer specifies a USB-C Power Delivery charger rated at least 18 W.

We have not confirmed whether the required adapter is included with every package or whether the supplied plug is appropriate for each European destination.

Check the exact contents of the package before ordering.

AI Station Security: Why We Recommend Caution

Security is a significant consideration when purchasing a connected robot equipped with conversational and visual capabilities.

On 15 October 2026, an AHA! security advisory documented vulnerabilities affecting Energize Lab products and services, including AI Station, applications, firmware update mechanisms and supporting cloud infrastructure.

The reported weaknesses involved authentication, device trust and other potentially serious security issues.

The advisory reflects research and retesting conducted earlier in 2026. It should not be interpreted as proof that every vulnerability remains exploitable on every current device.

What has Energize Lab said?

Following the reporting, Energize Lab acknowledged security problems and described corrective measures, including restricting access to affected systems and commissioning an independent security assessment.

However, the company’s announced actions do not by themselves establish that every vulnerability has been resolved.

As of this article’s update, we have not verified a completed independent security review confirming comprehensive remediation.

The security findings also cover multiple products and services. They should not be interpreted as evidence that every ordinary offline Eilik has been compromised.

Our recommendation

We would postpone buying AI Station primarily for connected AI interaction until credible independent confirmation of security remediation becomes available.

This is a precautionary buying recommendation, not a claim that every current AI Station is compromised.

The original Eilik’s ordinary offline character interactions are a different use case, although offline operation alone does not establish that every aspect of the broader ecosystem is secure.

The advertised camera cover can physically obscure AI Station’s camera, but it does not resolve questions involving voice processing, account security or cloud infrastructure.

Buying Eilik in the European Union

For European buyers, the advertised price is only part of the purchasing decision.

A price displayed in US dollars should not be compared directly with a VAT-inclusive price from a European retailer.

Depending on the seller and shipping arrangements, additional costs may include VAT, shipping, currency conversion, import duties and carrier handling fees.

Before ordering, check:

• The legal identity and location of the seller.
• The country from which the product will be dispatched.
• The final price including applicable taxes and delivery.
• Whether additional import or handling charges may apply.
• The estimated delivery time.

What about customs duties?

Import rules changed in 2026.

The European Commission introduced a temporary flat-rate customs duty for certain low-value imports from 1 July 2026.

The treatment depends on the shipment and applicable customs classification. It would therefore be misleading to promise that every Eilik order below €150 is duty-free.

We have not calculated the import charges for a particular Eilik shipment.

Warranty: Check Who Is Selling the Robot

Energize Lab’s published warranty information has not been entirely consistent.

Some official pages refer to a 90-day limited commercial warranty, while another manufacturer warranty page describes six months for main devices.

We recommend requesting written confirmation of the commercial warranty applicable to your purchase.

A manufacturer’s commercial warranty is different from the legal rights available to consumers.

For purchases covered by EU consumer law, new goods generally benefit from a minimum two-year legal guarantee against non-conformity.

Qualifying online purchases also generally provide a 14-day withdrawal period, subject to exceptions.

These rights may also apply when a non-EU trader targets EU consumers, although enforcing them internationally can be more difficult.

Choose two Eiliks if watching the robots interact is the feature that interests you most. Buy the pair for that experience, not merely because of the small bundle discount.

Wait before buying AI Station for connected AI features if security and privacy are important to you. Its advertised capabilities are interesting, but unresolved verification questions surrounding security remediation, service terms and language support justify caution.

For most first-time buyers, a single Eilik remains our preferred starting point.

It offers the core character experience without requiring the additional investment associated with AI Station.
